Carrie Machen leads our team of respiratory therapists, maintenance experts, and customer service representatives as we work every day to serve our patients with care and respect.
A long-time business professional, Carrie served as production manager and procurement analyst for the Back Forty Beer Company during a period of tremendous growth and expansion. In 2018, she opened her own business, GadRock Microgym, a 4,5000-square-foot indoor climbing and outdoor paddleboard facility.
Carrie, who holds a degree in political science and economics from Auburn University, spent her early career traveling the United States volunteering her time with service members and their families. Her efforts earned her the President’s Volunteer Service Award, which honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities and inspires others to act.
A Gadsden native, Carrie continues her local volunteer work as a member of the board of directors for Coosa Riverkeepers, Gadsden Commercial Development, Habitat for Humanity, and Friends of the Falls.
Carrie enjoys teaching paddleboarding and coaching a nationally-recognized competitive youth climbing team.
